There are many great things to do around ElkStone Lodge. If you are looking for more things to do besides visiting the Elk Country Visitor Center and the Winslow Hill Elk Viewing Area (both are less than 2 miles away), you can explore and experience more great things around the Lodge. There are several restaurants in town, less than 2 miles away. Within 2 hours you can find the Kinzua Bridge State Park, walk the Skywalk, and view the remains of what was once the longest and tallest railroad structure at over 2,000 feet long and over 300 feet high! Also within 2 hours is Cherry Springs State Park, a famous “dark sky” for stargazers. This is one of the darkest skies in the East, far away from the light pollution of the cities along the eastern seaboard.
